Work > Searoad Ferries

Develop and implement community consultation strategies, fostering goodwill and relationships with small communities affected by plans to change local ferry infrastructure.

CPR developed community consultation plans for Searoad Ferries proposed terminal improvements at Sorrento and Queenscliff. This included clear messaging to explain the project rationale and benefits, mechanisms to inform the public and collect feedback, detailed Q&A sets to support stakeholder discussions and media interactions. During the implementation, CPR offered media and local, state and federal government relations advice

Searoad Ferries has received overwhelmingly positive local and statewide media and community support for both projects. Both projects are moving through local and state approvals processes efficiently with ongoing support from CPR.
