Joshua Rose joined CPR in August 2020 having recently been a Ministerial Adviser in the Victorian Government to the current Minister for Public Transport, Roads and Road Safety.
Most recently, Joshua worked as a design researcher at Intrepid Travel where he was responsible for Intrepid’s qualitative research projects across their North American, European, Middle Eastern and African markets. Utilising his skills as an ethnographic researcher Joshua conducted customer and user experience research delivering insights that contributed to product design, website development and marketing strategy.
Having worked in both State and Federal politics, Joshua is well placed to leverage insights gained through research to communicate effectively with government.
Joshua previously worked as a speechwriter for the Federal Member for Lalor and as a policy and digital communications adviser in the Victorian Government. In the lead up to the 2018 Victorian election Joshua devised and delivered the then Minister for Industry and Employment’s social media strategy. Following the election, he contributed to the development of the Victorian Government’s Youth Justice Strategy, released in 2020.
Joshua’s expertise includes ethnographic, customer & user experience research, digital & strategic communication and public policy.
Joshua holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) focused on Anthropology and Social Theory & Politics and International Studies from the University of Melbourne.
