Gary Sargent is the General Manager of CPR London. Gary specialises in running strategic campaigns that bring together a range of tactics in the areas of public affairs, media and community relations, stakeholder management, public relations and market research.

With over twenty years experience in politics and government, Gary knows how to run a campaign and how to get the result clients are looking for. Gary has extensive knowledge of the UK political system, civil service structures and media. With firsthand experience in the portfolio areas of Transport, Roads, Ports, Housing, Energy, Utilities (Water & Gas), Police and Industrial Relations, Gary also worked for a parliamentary manager of government business, and has a wide-ranging understanding of parliamentary and legislative processes.

Specialising in infrastructure, public private partnerships, transport and government procurement practices, Gary also has broad public affairs experience in health, IT, telecommunications, sports and construction. Gary has advised public, private and non-government sector organisations, as well as large trade unions. Gary has also served as an elected local government councillor (where he served for three years as Chairman of the Planning and Environment Committee), a Senior Industrial Officer with a major trade union and has also worked as a staffer at National Government level.
