Michael Meagher
Michael is a skilled communications practitioner with more than 25 years’ experience in media and government. He provides strategic media, issues management and government relations advice to public, private and non-government sector organisations, as well as trade unions.
Before joining CPR, Michael worked in government as a chief of staff and provided advice on the Planning, Education, Fair Trading and Western Sydney portfolios. He maintains strong relationships within government and the bureaucracy.
Michael was a journalist with The Australian and The Bulletin, Associate Editor of BRW Magazine and senior journalist on the respected Business Sunday program at the Nine Network.
He was also a senior reporter on Nine's Sports Sunday and played a senior role in media and communications with the Australian Olympic Commission during the Sydney Games in 2000.
