Gary Sargent

Gary is General Manager of CPR's NSW Office. Prior to joining CPR he was employed for six years with the Carr and Iemma Governments, where he held the positions of Chief of Staff and Senior Adviser to senior ministers.

With over 20 years experience in politics and government, Gary has extensive knowledge in the portfolio areas of Transport, Roads, Ports, Housing, Energy, Utilities (Water & Gas) Police and Industrial Relations.

Gary has a wide-ranging knowledge of NSW Government agencies, specialising in infrastructure and transport. Gary has also served as a local government councillor (where he served as a planning and environment committee chair for 3 years) and has also worked as a staffer in the federal arena.
