Bill Forwood
Bill Forwood has had a long and varied involvement in business, politics and the community.
Bill was a Liberal MP in the Victorian Upper House from 1992 to 2006, serving as both Leader and Deputy Leader.
He was Parliamentary Secretary to the Victorian Premier Jeff Kennett, and was Shadow Minister for a number of areas, including Energy and Resources, Environment, Rural and Regional Development and WorkCover.
Before entering Parliament, Bill's career centred on business, finance and project development, particularly in the NT and Victoria.
Bill is experienced in finance and governance, having served on various boards including the Council of Melbourne University and VicHealth.
He was either chair or deputy chair of the Victoria Public Accounts and Estimates Committee for many years. |
