Mark Thomas Mark Thomas brings a wide range of skills and experience to CPR’s Tasmanian office.
Mark works with a wide range of clients, including Tasmania’s largest financial organisation, MyState Financial, Tasmania’s largest civil construction company, Hazell Bros Group, and Tasmania’s major superannuation organisation, RBF.
He has also developed a successful facilitation and stakeholder management arm for CPR Tasmania, working with the Tasmanian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the State’s leading private IT industry body TasICT.
Mark worked in Timor-Leste with the Government of Xanana Gusmao in 2008, providing media and communications advice in a pro bono project with former Victorian Premier Steve Bracks.
Prior to joining CPR Mark worked for six years for the Tasmanian Government. He was media adviser to Treasurer Dr David Crean, the Attorney General and Minister for Health, and then directly with the late Premier Jim Bacon.
A former television and newspaper journalist, Mark was the author of former Australian Test batsman David Boon's two successful biographies, In the Firing Line and Under the Southern Cross. Mark has extensive contacts with the business and sports community in both Southern and Northern Tasmania. |
