Brett Murphy

Before joining CPR, Brett served as an adviser to the Queensland Government for four years. Most recently Brett was an advisor to the Local Government Minister.

During his time working in government, Brett served as an adviser in a diverse range of portfolios including Local Government, Aboriginal and Torres Straight Islander Partnerships, Tourism, Regional Development, Industry, Infrastructure, Planning, Transport, Main Roads and Trade.

Brett also served as an adviser to current Premier Anna Bligh and former Premier Peter Beattie prior to and during the 2009 and 2006 State election campaigns.

Brett has extensive media management skills and campaign experience and has been involved in campaigns at all levels of Government including a successful marginal seat campaign in the electorate of Flynn in the 2007 Federal election campaign.

He has extensive contacts within the Government, industry, media and stakeholder groups across the State.
