Terri Birrell

Terri has more than 17 years’ experience in international business development, marketing and communications and event/project management.

Prior to joining CPR, Terri managed the Queensland Government’s trade relationships with the Americas region. This involved identifying market demand trends and facilitating trade opportunities for Queensland companies in North and South America. 

Before this Terri spent 15 years with the Brisbane City Council Lord Mayor’s Office managing Brisbane’s international relationships and programs. During this time, Terri designed and delivered the first four Asia Pacific Cities Summit events held in Brisbane (1999), Seattle USA (2001), Brisbane (2003) and Chongqing China (2005).  These events attracted more than 1,000 business and industry participants from 25 countries and ensured a wide range of strategic, commercial and trade related outcomes throughout the Asia Pacific region.
